Harrison College (www.harrison.edu), a private sector college with more than 6,000 students studying at 12 campuses and Online, announced today that Michael Crowley has been hired to serve as the college’s Vice President of Legal and Compliance.
In his role with Harrison College, Michael will lead all legal aspects of the college’s business, including the further development of its compliance and regulatory strategy.
Michael’s legal career in Indianapolis includes the last two-and-a-half years within higher education at ITT Educational Services, where he served as Corporate Counsel and Director of Human Resources. Previously, he served as Corporate Counsel for Product Action International – a two thousand employee quality assurance company – and Corporate Counsel and Director of The Steak & Shake Companies, where he oversaw all non-litigation matters for the corporation. Michael began his legal career as a practicing attorney with Locke Reynolds (now Frost Brown Todd), The Reis Law Firm, and Drewery, Simmons & Vorenhm.
Michael received his B.A. in Political Science from Purdue University, and his J.D. from Indiana University’s School of Law in Bloomington.
