INDIANAPOLIS – Harrison College, a private sector college with 6,100 students studying at 12 campuses and Online, announced today that it has hired Amy Billings to serve as Director of Alumni Relations.
In this role, Billings will be responsible for managing the Alumni Association Board, collaborating with campus leadership, enhancing communication with alumni and developing and implementing new programs and events designed to engage alumni and strengthen relationships between Harrison College alumni, faculty, staff and students.
“Amy’s experience in alumni relations and her passion for connecting people to people, and people to resources to improve their lives, makes her a terrific fit for our culture here at Harrison College,” said Dr. Dennis A. Trinkle, Harrison College Provost and Chief Academic Officer.
Billings most recently served as the Marketing and Partnership Development Director for the American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters in Indianapolis. She also has previous experience in higher education, having served as Associate Director of Alumni Relations for the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago where she directed reunions, award events, and alumni programs that included eMentoring, mock interviews, Lunch With An Alum, and Corporate Tours.
Billings earned her B.A. degree in Elementary Education from National-Louis University.
Harrison College offers 38 programs in five schools of study (Business, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, and Veterinary Technology) and through its culinary division, The Chef’s Academy.
