MARION, IN—Effective January 2009, Harrison College will no longer enroll new students in residential programs at Marion
Harrison College serves the State of Indiana and beyond through a variety of educational delivery methods including on-ground, online, hybrid, and blended teaching models. To focus on the overall needs of the College and the college’s value statements of Excellence, Service, and Compliance, it becomes necessary at times to adjust the educational delivery models to ensure Harrison is applying appropriate resources in the most efficient manner within the College and in the communities we serve.
With that in mind, it has been decided to change the manner in which the Marion community is served, specifically Grant County residents and surrounding county residents who choose to attend the Marion campus. Effective with the January 2009 quarter, Harrison College will no longer enroll new students in residential programs at the Marion campus.
The College will, however, continue to provide a full range of services for currently enrolled students at the Marion campus in their program of study until those students have graduated or otherwise withdrawn from their programs.
This process has no definitive endpoint and focuses all energy and effort on adhering to our value statements of Excellence, Service, and Compliance. For future Grant County and surrounding county residents, Indiana Business College will continue to offer its excellence in education through the College’s online division.
Harrison College takes great pride in serving Marion and the surrounding communities. As a continuing part of the Harrison legacy, we look forward to serving the area’s future graduates.
