Harrison College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a well-known business school in India. The agreement with Siva Sivani Institute of Management in Hyderabad will allow for student and faculty exchange programs and jointly-developed certificates at the post-graduate level. Harrison says it hopes to have international partnerships on all five continents within five years.

In recognition of National Mentoring Month, representatives of Indiana’s public and private colleges and universities have jointly signed a declaration encouraging Hoosiers to “vigorously support youth mentoring as a life-changing strategy for the personal, academic, and economic success of Indiana children and youth.” With President Obama and Gov. Mitch Daniels challenging institutions of higher learning to put more graduates into our workforce, the need for mentors has never been greater.

First IPS intersession had it's bright spots, but has room for improvement
