It’s a win-win situation when an employee goes back to school – the employee (you) gains new knowledge and skills that can lead to better jobs and pay while the employer gets the benefit of a well-trained staff member. We are happy to work with your employer to arrange for your tuition reimbursement. Simply provide your financial aid analyst with a contact at your Human Resources department and a copy of your employer’s Tuition Reimbursement policy. We will then work directly with your HR representative to provide all the information they require such as attendance, grade reports, and awards and honors.
Keep in mind that your employer is going to reimburse your tuition rather than pay for it upfront. That means you will need to secure financing or pay your tuition prior to taking classes. Once you have successfully met your employer’s specific stipulations in terms of completing the class, then you will be reimbursed by them. We are happy to assist you in communicating with your employer, but remember that it is truly an arrangement between you and your employer.
