Harrison College announced today that it is now accepting applications for its Working Moms Scholarship program. This is the first year Harrison College has offered the Working Moms Scholarship, which is designed to give a boost to women who juggle the demands of work, family, and school.
 

Harrison College will host an Open House Friday, Feb. 11, 11am-1pm, to showcase the college’s new Veterinary Technology program. The school began offering its Veterinary Technology program last month.

 

Harrison College has acquired technology, animation and development assets of Medical Animatics effective immediately. The partial asset acquisition included the transfer of three master-level designers, animation equipment, and portions of the company’s custom illustration libraries, which Harrison is repurposing to design and develop content for interactive programs and enhanced student learning outcomes through its online, on-ground, and blended course delivery options.

$2,500 Working Mothers Scholarships can be used for online and campus programs. Giving a boost to women who juggle the demands of work, family and school, Harrison College today unveiled the Harrison College Working Mothers Scholarship, a $2,500 award for working moms.

 

Cannon IV selects Harrison College to provide corporate training

A national provider of printers and copiers has selected Harrison College to provide continuing education for its employees. In April, Indianapolis-based Cannon IV will begin sending technicians and administrative personnel to IT classes at Harrison’s Northwest campus in Park 100.

 

Duane M. Schmitz, a former senior global executive with Eli Lilly and Company, has joins Harrison College as president of Harrison’s online division today.

Jason T. Konesco, a Notre Dame graduate with Fortune 500 experience and a family legacy of career college leadership, has been named president of Harrison College (formerly Indiana Business College).

 

In Post-9/11 GI Bill era, list offers veterans guidance on which schools are doing the most to embrace them as students. As Harrison College continues to strive to better serve its current and future military students, it is honored with being named as one of the 2010 Military Friendly Schools. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools which are doing the most to embrace America’s veterans as students.

 

Higher Education innovator joins Harrison

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Dennis A. Trinkle, an internationally recognized expert in higher education, has been selected to serve as the first provost and chief academic officer at Harrison College (formerly Indiana Business College).

 

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Harrison College is excited to announce that they are the recipient of a Lilly Foundation grant that will better assist service members in their quest for higher education. The $15,000 grant will allow Harrison College to become a military-friendly college by initiating a program that offers support for service members and their families.
