Harrison College enters MOU with university in India

Harrison College, a private sector college serving 6,000 students at 12 campuses in Indiana and Ohio as well as Online, announced today that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM) in Hyderabad, India.  The agreement will allow the institutions to further explore and define parameters around their partnership in student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, and jointly developed and delivered certificates at the post-graduate level.

 

Dr. Myra Jones, national dean of the Harrison College School of Veterinary Technology (harrison.edu), has announced that the Veterinary Assisting program offered at the college’s Indianapolis Northwest campus has received accreditation through the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). The mission of NAVTA is to represent and promote the profession of veterinary technology.

Cherylee Blankenship, a faculty member at Harrison College’s Grove City, Ohio campus, received the 2011 Master Teacher Award from the Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools at the group’s annual meeting in Columbus.

 

Harrison College announces scholarships for high school seniors

Jason Konesco, president of Harrison College (harrison.edu), has announced that the College is accepting applications from high school students for four available scholarships. Applications are due by Dec. 31, 2011.

 

Harrison College, a private sector college with 6,100 students studying at 12 campuses and Online, announced today that it has hired Amy Billings to serve as Director of Alumni Relations.

 

Services will be available Oct. 21 at College's Indianapolis Northwest campus.
