The Harrison College Working Moms Scholarship is awarded to women who are working or looking to reenter the workforce, have at least one dependent child, and are enrolling in the college for the first time.  Harrison College first awarded Working MomsScholarships in 2011.

In this role, Shockey will serve as the primary academic administrator for the school, exercising a leading role in setting its curricular and academic vision and policy. Through the Council of Deans and Curriculum Committee, Shockey has primary responsibility for assuring that the School of Education has highly effective curricula and is seen as a leader in providing contemporary, career-relevant instruction. Shockey will also serve as a primary program spokesperson for the School of Education to all internal and external audiences.
